Corridors - Mauro D’Agati
€180.00
In the early 1970s the workers of the ‘Fabrica Vanguardia Socialista’, one of Cuba’s most important steel foundries, urged Fidel Castro to provide them with adequate housing. In response to this request, ‘El Comandante’ arranged the construction of Alamar, a new ‘city’ laid out and built by the same workers who requested it. Long, narrow corridors line the interiors of the four 12-story buildings of Alamar’s zone I.
