Midge Wattles Exhibition 'Passages' at Francesco Pantaleone Arte Contemporanea

Passages, the first solo exhibition in Italy of American-born artist Midge Wattles, is on display at Francesco Pantaleone Arte Contemporanea, Palermo, until February 16th, 2019.
In Passages, Midge Wattles offers her personal narration of the Sicilian landscape – from the stunning Scala dei Turchi, to Gibellina Vecchia, to multiple glimpses of the Island of Pantelleria.
The exhibition also hosted an exclusive preview of Wattles’ publication Passages&Oxalis, produced in October 2018 during her residency with 89books. The book, which is the first of 89books’ Folio series, dedicated to emerging artists, includes the unpublished Oxalis, a further exploration of light that ‘questions the surface of a photograph through the elements of the medium’ [Midge Wattles].

Passages&Oxalis is on sale upon request at Francesco Pantaleone Arte Contemporanea, and will soon be on sale on www.89books.com

Price: 25 €
