From this patience are born photographs that are not mere pictures, but fragments of truth. Every face she captures seems to come from another time: a child smiling on the edge of destitution, a mother closing her eyes in the thickness of a prayer, teenagers drunk with life, a young couple preparing for a wedding, a woman whose wrinkles carry the millennial wandering of her people. Nothing is spectacular, everything is essential.
