Athens A.M. is a series about Athenian nightlife and its idiosyncratic sociality. Situated at the crossroads between the analogue and digital epochs, this series emerged out of an ineffable wanderlust and insatiable curiosity about the city and its people. Athens was, once again, changing. Keeping its bustle, it took an eclectic turn. The lived experience of this swift carried with it an exotic feeling. The faces, the levity of mood, the partially known, the unexpected, the unhurried, the emotions. The sincerity. For years, the city itself would drive me, through its streets and the hangouts that preserve a part of its urban history. Every photograph was a personal experience and a specific moment in time shared with those around me.
