The photographs in Overseas capture Rome, Italy, in the year 1990, where Jason Rice spent six weeks on the streets photographing life as he saw it, in all forms. Other parts of this book highlight photographs from his time in The South of France, where he taught photography to American students in Lacoste in the fall of 1992. There are also several images in this book taken in Rhode Island while he was a student at The Rhode Island School of Design.
